The MICMA Mainz medical center is a modern supra-regional practice in the center of Mainz. Outpatient and inpatient surgeries take place at the affiliated Rheinclinic in Bodenheim, whose operating rooms are kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment. The main areas of treatment include minimally invasive gynecological surgery as well as office hysteroscopy.
Dr. Söder (founder of the Rheinclinic) and Dr. Böhm (senior mammographer certified by the German Cancer Society; MIS III-certified by AGE, the German Association of Gynecological Endoscopy) have gained a wealth of surgical experience over the course of their careers, leading them to be recognized as specialists in minimally invasive gynecological surgery.
The surgeons at MICMA use new and innovative methods in both diagnosis and treatment. In addition, MICMA prioritizes both training young colleagues in practical surgery and peer-to-peer learning. The newly built MICMA clinic, boasting 4 operating theaters, is due to open in the Helix Mainz medical center in the first quarter of 2023. This will raise the bar with regard to performing outpatient and short-stay highly complex endoscopic procedures.
