The urology department at the St. Katharinen Hospital in Frankfurt am Main is one of the largest in the Rhine-Main area. One major area of surgical focus is the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia using laser therapy – holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP).
The Frankfurt Rhine-Main Laser Center has been set up at the St. Katharinen Hospital as a pan-regional center for procedures of this kind.
