Retirement of Siegfried Karst after 40 years with the company

(Knittlingen, 12 May 2017) After 40 years of dedicated hard work at Richard Wolf GmbH, Mr. Siegfried Karst bids farewell to the company and starts his retirement. For the past 15 years, he was Managing Director with responsibility for Production, Research and Development, and Quality Management at Richard Wolf GmbH and its domestic and foreign subsidiary companies.

At the end of April, the company bade farewell to Mr. Karst at a festive celebration in the presence of the Management Board of the Richard and Annemarie Wolf Foundation, representatives from public life, professional colleagues and numerous employees. The agenda included farewell speeches from District Chief Executive Karl Röckinger, Knittlingen Mayor  Heinz-Peter Hopp and the Chair of the Foundation of Richard Wolf. “My feelings are ambivalent – I have very fond memories of my years at Richard Wolf. But the time has come say goodbye,” admitted Mr. Kast at his retirement celebration.

The company management of Richard Wolf and the entire Richard Wolf Group will now change from a three-strong executive management to Co-CEOs comprising the existing Managing Directors Jürgen Pfab and Jürgen Steinbeck. “We would like to give Mr. Karst our very best wishes for the future, and most importantly good health in the next phase of his life,” was the parting message given by Mr. Steinbeck and Mr. Pfab as they said goodbye to their long-standing colleague and wished him well for his retirement.
